Highland Trailer Training offers a high standard of professional tuition and advice to anyone requiring to sit a car and trailer (B + E) test.
Are you towing legally?
If you passed your driving test on or after 1st January 1997 and you now want to tow certain trailers, a horsebox or caravan, you may have to pass a specific practical test. This would give you a B + E entitlement on your driving licence.
The car and trailer practical driving test.
Car and trailer tests are based on the LGV driving test. They last for approximately one hour and are carried out at vocational (bus and lorry) driving test centres in Inverness and Wick. They include vehicle safety questions, an off-road reverse manoeuvre, coupling and uncoupling of the car and trailer as well as driving on the road.
